Prometric & Thomson (now Thomson) began in 1990 when the company, well known as Drake, developed a computerized examination for Novell, the first company to introduce Information Technology (IT) accreditation. Today, Thompson delivers IT exams around the world for industry leaders such as Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Intel and Citrix.

VUE (Virtual University Enterprises) was acquired by NCS (now NCS Pearson) on April 10, 1997, to lead the company’s entry into the electronic certification testing business.

Both organizations offer equal services.

Tomson’s exams list (among which is HP, Oracle) is larger than it is in VUE. However, Microsoft Business Solution, Macromedia, etc. exams is possible to take in VUE only.

St.Petersburg Academy of Management Methods and Techniques is Authorized Testing Center as: Tomson , Pearson VUE, Prodigy.
